The Sea Salt Conservatory was introduced in 2015 produces products from the ocean all year, including sea salt for cooking, which Terranea creates with a sodium content of 27% (most table salt is 40% sodium) and makes available for sale at sea beans.

SPRING RENEWAL

Each September, the property honors Coastal Cleanup Day, an international event to help clean the shores. September is Yoga Awareness Month—practice with Full Moon Yoga on the ocean lawn and keep a lookout for World Wellness Weekend.
In October, learn about our haunted self-guided nature walk to Point Vicente Lighthouse.
Terranea Turns Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, benefiting breast cancer research and support, and featuring the Birdies for Breast Cancer golf tournament at The Links.

WINTER HOLIDAYS
Throughout the 102-acre estate, dozens of fireplaces and firepits around the grounds and public lounges can warm a chilly evening.
You can also experience whiskey or sake tastings at bashi to further warm your soul.
Before there was Disneyland, there was Marineland, a public oceanarium, where Terranea now sits. Sea life, in its natural habitat, flocks to the area. November through May you can witness the annual gray whale migration.
